Cowles Center Hosts Groundbreaking Battle Festival

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Cowles Center in downtown Minneapolis is celebrating its fourth annual Groundbreaker Battle Festival this weekend.

The event features breakdancing and a competition to decide the best dance crew in Minneapolis. Officials at the Cowles Center said they expect up to 2,000 people to show up and take in the festivities.

They are also urging people who have never done breakdancing before to get out of their shell and try to find their beat. WCCO-TV's Jamie Yuccas tried just that earlier this week to prepare for the Cowles Center's big day.
