Cop Repeats Victory Performance At Hot Dog Eating Contest
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It was no ordinary hot dog eating contest on Tuesday as contestants from multiple metro fire and police departments munched on Chicago-style dogs.
The competition was to honor National Hot Dog Day and help out charity. It was a wiener-take-all contest between Minneapolis, St. Paul and Fridley police and fire departments.
Minneapolis police officer Carl White finished off seven dogs in five minutes. It should be noted that White is the repeat winner from last year and that the winnings will go to his favorite charity.
Chris and Rob's restaurant hosts the annual event.
Chicago-style dogs come with a poppy seed bun, pickle spear, relish and are topped with celery salt.
