ST. ANTHONY, Minn. (WCCO) — Police have issued a crime alert after an elementary school’s mascot statue was reported stolen.
The incident happened around 9:30 p.m. on July 15 at Wilshire Park Elementary School, located on 3600 Highcrest Road.
The mascot, a panda bear, is approximately 5-feet-tall, weighs about 100 pounds and was bolted to the cement.
The crime alert states the statue is a hand-carved wooden panda bear.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call St. Anthony Police.
