MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Crews had quite the mess to clean up overnight after a semi-truck flipped over in the southeast metro, according to police.
Authorities said the crash happened just before 11 p.m. Tuesday where Interstate 494 meets with Highway 61 in Newport. Crews spent hours trying to get the semi up-right again.
Authorities say the truck was carrying water. There were no reports of any injuries, and it’s not known what cause the semi to tip over.
