11-Year-Old Drowning Victim ID'd

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities have identified the 11-year-old boy who drowned Wednesday in Corcoran.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office said Chuefu Yang, of St. Paul, died shortly after 5:30 p.m. in the emergency room of the North Memorial Medical Center.

Yang and his family were visiting a farm when he drowned in a pond.

His death was an accident, the medical examiner's office said.
