MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Vikings have avoided a holdout with their top draft choice as players are reporting to training camp on Thursday.
Matt Kalil, the offensive lineman the Vikings chose with their fourth overall selection in the NFL Draft, agreed to terms with the team on Thursday. Terms of the contract were not immediately disclosed.
Kalil was widely considered the top offensive lineman in this year’s draft class. He was the final member of the Vikings’ 10-player draft class to sign.
