PINE RIVER, Minn. (WCCO) — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says the remains of a 27-year-old man who went missing in the Pine River area last week have been uncovered.
Police say the body of Mark Andrew Huesmann were found in a shallow grave near the Pine River area on Wednesday.
Officers also said that a 20-year-old woman was being held in Cass County Jail in connection with the man’s death.
She has not been identified, pending charges from the county attorney’s office.
The cause of death has not yet been determined, though police say foul play is suspected. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office is performing the autopsy.
