After Nearly 30 Years, St. Paul Sergeant Receives Rare Salute
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- St. Paul police celebrated one of their brother's Friday for the final time with a rare salute.
The department surprised Sgt. Pat Kane with a last radio call Friday afternoon. Messages of thanks and well wishes echoed on the squad's radios.
Kane retired after 29 years on the force.
