Tickets On Sale Tuesday For ‘Prairie Home’ Season

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Garrison Keillor kicks off the 39th season of “A Prairie Home Companion” Sept. 15 in downtown St. Paul.

Keillor will broadcast the season opener live from the Fitzgerald Theater. Following the show, the annual Prairie Home Street Dance and Meatloaf Supper will be held on Exchange Street, in front of the theater.

Five more live “Prairie Home” shows will be broadcast from the Fitzgerald, on Sept. 22 and 29 and Oct. 6, 13 and 20.

Tickets for all six shows go on sale at noon Tuesday through Ticketmaster outlets or online, or in person at the Fitzgerald Box Office.

“A Prairie Home Companion” is heard on nearly 600 public radio stations nationwide, with a weekly audience of more than 4 million listeners.
