Twin Cities Orthopedics Offering Free Physicals For Athletes

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It's the last day of July, which means somehow that the school year is less than a month away for many school districts.

That means that as high school athletes prepare for another season, they'll need to have an updated physical to be eligible for competition. A Twin Cities clinic is offering free physical exams on Tuesday for exactly that.

The Minnesota State High School League requires physical exams for all students participating in high school sports. If you head to Twin Cities Orthopedics in Edina, you can get one for free anytime between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Students don't need an appointment, but you do need to bring a "Sports Qualifying Physical Examination Clearance Form."

If you can't get there Tuesday night, Twin Cities Orthopedics is holding more free exams on Thursday, Aug. 9.
