Man, 22, Killed In Lake Elmo Crash

LAKE ELMO, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities say one person is dead after a single car crash in Lake Elmo Wednesday morning.

Police said the crash happened at about 3:12 a.m. on the 3000 block of Lake Elmo Avenue North. When authorities arrived, the care was leaking fuel and a man had been ejected from the vehicle. Authorities said the man was dead at the scene.

Police said the victim was a 22-year-old man from Oak Park Heights, but did not release his name pending notification of his family.

Authorities haven't released details of what led up to the accident, which is under investigation at this time. The Washington County Sheriff's Office will release more information when it is available.
