MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Two teenagers face felony vandalism charges after allegedly running amuck in St. Cloud, spray-painting buildings, slashing tires and breaking the mailboxes of some 20 victims over the weekend.
St. Cloud Police said the vandalism happened overnight on Aug. 29. Officers received a call about the destruction, which occurred along Northwood Lane, shortly after 2 a.m. Monday.
A 14-year-old St. Cloud boy confessed to the crimes and was released into the custody of his parents, police said.
A 13-year-old Californian was also implicated.
The two are being charged with felony criminal damage to property and other related offenses. Restitution is being sought.
Along with the acts listed above, the two allegedly broke windows, scratched cars and damaged lawn ornaments.
