GOP’s Kline Has Money Edge In Minn.’s 2nd District

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Republican Rep. John Kline has about six times as much campaign cash as his Democratic challenger as he seeks a sixth term in a reshaped suburban Twin Cities district.

Kline’s campaign reported $1.3 million on hand in late July, compared with $227,000 for former state Rep. Mike Obermueller.

Kline raised and spent about twice as much as Obermueller in a 3-1/2-week period in July.
