MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 26-year-old Iowa man was killed Friday morning after a rollover crash near Nisswa, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Authorities said the accident happened at about 2:19 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 371 and South Road, just south of Nisswa. The Minnesota State Patrol said a 1994 Chevrolet pick-up truck was driving n northbound on Highway 371 when it went off the right side of the road, hit an approach and rolled over.
Brainerd Police, Pequot Lakes Police, Breezy Point Police and the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the accident to assist. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified by the Minnesota State Patrol as Rocky Lund of Ridgeway, Iowa. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
