MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a bank at gunpoint on Friday in Minneapolis.
Minneapolis police say the Guaranty Bank at 1540 New Brighton Blvd, located inside a Rainbow Foods, was robbed by a man who fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police said the man was described as a black male, 6 feet tall, approximately 200 pounds, and is about 45 to 55 years old. He was wearing a gray hat, a dark blue suit and a white open collar shirt. His shirt sleeves, with cuff links, extended beyond the jacket sleeves. The suspect was possibly wearing makeup.
He was armed with a semi-automatic handgun, police say.
