MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Plowing Association is in a major competition on Saturday at the Old Time Harvest Steam and Gas Engine Festival.
And plowing is harder than it looks, it’s a battle ground.
Those who win at nationals this year – in what some call a “lost art” — will head to Canada for the world competition in 2013.
“It’s all about accuracy,” one farmer said. “You want a good clean job done.”
The kids here start young, even a 9-year-old is taking part. Her father, is ranked No. 9 in the world.
