Edina Police Offer Reward To Capture Burglary Suspect

EDINA, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities in Edina are offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest of a suspect involved in multiple burglaries and auto thefts that have happened during the overnight hours between mid-June and early August.

Police said the incidents have been happening near the Hopkins border in northwest Edina.

Authorities say the suspect is a black man about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing about 150 to 160 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. Police said the man is believed to be in his 20s.

Police said most of the burglaries didn't involve forced entry, meaning the property was unlocked at the time. Anyone with information about the incidents or who can identify the suspect is asked to call Edina Police at (952) 826-1600.
