MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The University of Minnesota men’s basketball team will travel to Florida State University on Nov. 27 as part of the Big 10/ACC Challenge, the school announced Tuesday.
The game will be at about 6:15 p.m. and will be televised nationally by ESPN2.
It will be the eighth meeting between the Gophers and Florida State and the fourth time the two programs have faced each other in the Big 10/ACC Challenge. They most recently faced each other in 2007, with the Seminoles winning 75-61.
The Gophers are 5-8 overall in the challenge and escaped last year with a 58-55 victory over Virginia. They return all but one player from a team that finished 23-15 and got to the NIT championship game, where they lost to Stanford.
