MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – What better way to spend a summer night than riding a lawnmower?

How about smashing your lawn mowers in an intense demolition derby?

That’s what was happened Tuesday night at the Goodhue County Fair in Zumbrota, Minn. Photojournalist Joe Mears got an up-close view of the fair’s first-ever Lawn Mower Derby.
