ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – During Thursday’s mild evening, a group of teens and young adults in St. Paul got to play a game of baseball under the bright lights of the ballpark.
Twenty-one people played in the Really Big Game while hundreds watched. The game was put on by the Highland Friendship Club, which helps young people with disabilities take part in activities, and the Highland Area Baseball Association.
The game played out on Ford Little League Field, and at least one player loudly voiced the fun he was having.
It was the first time the groups involved put on the event. To see what it was like, watch the video above.
Groups such as Target and the St. Paul Saints helped make it happen.
