MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, who once made his own bid for the presidency, is campaigning for Republican candidate Mitt Romney in New Hampshire.
Pawlenty is attending an “Ice Cream and Candidates Summer Social” on Saturday held by the Republican State Committee in Manchester.
The event is taking place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Pawlenty had been named among possible running mates for Romney, who announced Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan as his choice Saturday.
