Police: Eagan Man Makes Threats, Cops Safely Quell Situation

EAGAN, Minn. (WCCO) — A hang-up 911 call Wednesday afternoon led officers to an Eagan residence on the 1700 block of Deerwood Drive where police learned a man was barricaded in the home and had made threats.

Police evacuated the home, and at 6:27 p.m., negotiators made telephone contact with the man inside and he agreed to come out of the home without incident.

The Eagan Police Department received assistance from the Minnesota State Patrol, Eagan Fire Department and the Dakota County MAAG Team.
