ROBBINSDALE, Minn. (WCCO) – At least two people suffered serious injuries after a motorcycle accident in Robbinsdale early Friday morning, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Authorities responded to a report of a crash involving a motorcycle at about 12:36 a.m. near the area of 42nd Avenue and Welcome Avenue in Robbinsdale. When authorities arrived, a motorcycle had been traveling at a high rate of speed in the area and approached a T-intersection when it lost control and hit a power pole.
The extent of the injuries to the victims is not known at this time. Crystal Police and Robbinsdale Police assisted the Minnesota State Patrol at the scene. It’s also not clear if any residents in the area were affected by damage to the power pole.
The accident is still under investigation at this time.
