ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The New Hampshire home where Republican Rep. Chip Cravaack’s family lives is worth as much as $500,000, according to a congressional disclosure statement.
The congressman from Minnesota’s 8th District revealed details of his personal finances for 2011 in the statement posted online by the House clerk Friday.
Cravaack’s family moved to Wyndham, N.H., last year when his wife got a new job. The mortgage on that property is worth between $250,001 and $500,000, and they also have a mortgage between $100,001 and $250,000 on Cravaack’s home in North Branch, Minn.
Democrats have questioned Cravaack’s ties to northeastern Minnesota after his family moved.
Cravaack reported that he and his wife have assets worth $1 million to $2.2 million. He also gets an airline disability pension of $92,000 a year.
