MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police have ID’d the man who was shot and killed early Saturday morning on the 2100 block of Penn Avenue North as Lavelle Ja’ron Priest, 21, of Minneapolis.

Another person suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the incident, police say. Authorities have ruled the shooting a homicide.

As of Saturday, no suspects were in custody.
