MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) –- Authorities are investigating after a man was shot and killed Tuesday morning on the south side of Minneapolis.
Minneapolis Police learned of a shooting through their Shotspotter technology at about 6:45 a.m. on the 2100 block of Oakland Avenue.
When authorities arrived at the area, they found an adult male dead inside a van. Authorities said the man had died of a gunshot wound.
Police said there are currently no witnesses to the shooting and they have little information about the incident.
The victim was not identified.
They also have no information on a possible suspect. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Minneapolis Police.
