MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 41-year-old Wisconsin man died at Regions Hospital Tuesday after suffering injuries in a motorcycle crash earlier this month in northwestern Minnesota.
Jason R. Casey, of Danbury, Wis., lost control of his motorcycle on Aug. 11 near Sterling Township when he was traveling east on 290th Avenue, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office said. He failed to negotiate a curve, went off road, entered a patch of woodland and was thrown from his motorcycle.
An air ambulance brought Casey to Regions Hospital, where the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office was to report his death 10 days later.
Casey is the ninth person to die on Polk County roads, the sheriff’s office said.
