HUDSON, Wis. (WCCO) – A Wisconsin man died in St. Croix County Tuesday evening after falling into a hay baler.

According to the county sheriff’s office, Walter Juneau, of Glenwood City, was reported stuck in a “round baler” at a farm on County Road G in the Town of Glenwood.

Crews from the local emergency medical and fire services responded to the scene and freed Juneau from the machine, but the sheriff’s office said he died as a result of his injuries.

Juneau was 47 years old.
