ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Former Gov. Tim Pawlenty has been given a prime time spot for his address at the Republican National Convention next week.

Republican National Chairman Reince Priebus says Pawlenty will speak before a national TV audience Wednesday night in Tampa, Fla. His address is scheduled right before former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan.

The convention begins Monday and ends Thursday.
