Young Chef's Hit-And-Run Death Remembered

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It's been one year since a young chef died, and a former Viking's wife turned up in the headlines.

Anousone Phanthavong was standing next to his car on an Interstate-94 off-ramp one year ago Thursday when Amy Senser's SUV hit and killed him.

Senser was convicted on two counts of criminal vehicular homicide, and is now serving a 41-month sentence.

Senser has maintained that she didn't know she hit a person at the time. She is appealing her conviction.

Amy Senser is the wife of former-Viking Joe Senser.
