ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – Governor Mark Dayton announced the appointment of Mr. Leonard A. Weiler as a District Court judge in Minnesota’s Seventh Judicial District on Monday.

According to the governor’s office, Mr. Weiler will replace the Honorable Skipper J. Pearson who retired earlier this year. His seat will be chambered in Milaca in Mille Lacs County in Minnesota’s Seventh Judicial District.

Weiler works as the Managing Attorney for the Seventh Judicial District Public Defender’s office where he manages public defender operations within Stearns County while maintaining a criminal caseload.

He lives with his family in Sartell.
