ST. PAUL (WCCO) –  Rachel Slavik took WCCO’s newest team member – Edward Moody – around the Minnesota State Fair to show him the ropes on Day 2 of the Great Minnesota Get-Together.

And the day revolved around food just like any quality fair experience should.

“What’s a Pronto Pop?” Moody asked.

“It’s a Pronto Pup,” Slavik responded.

In addition to chowing down on the cousin of the corn dog, Moody dabbled in crab fritters, too.

And even some roasted corn.

What Moody didn’t get around to was the fair staple of cheese curds.

But there are plenty of fair days left for that.

As for the ride portion of the day, he hopped on the giant slide, and he finished much further ahead of Rachel.

After the Ejector seat — and many, many screams — the duo wrapped up the day with the kiddie rides.
