ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – Officials said more than a thousand people helped raise more than $3 million over the weekend in the fight against breast cancer.
More than 1,400 people participated in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for Breast Cancer that took place in the Twin Cities over the weekend. It started Friday morning and finished Sunday afternoon at the State Capitol in St. Paul.
Officials said $3.8 million was raised during the event. That money will go towards breast cancer research.
