RAMSEY, Minn. (WCCO) – Several people were able to escape from an early morning house fire in Ramsey, according to authorities.
Fire crews responded to a report of a house fire on the 14000 block of Potassium Street early Wednesday morning. When authorities arrived, a fire had started near a deck on the back of the house and quickly spread to the deck.
The home suffered significant damage as a result of the fire, but nobody was hurt. An older couple lives at the residence, and the homeowner said relatives were staying with them while they are looking for a new home.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
