MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A young woman suffered serious injuries Tuesday evening after a car hit her while she was walking near the intersection of Grand and Hamline avenues in St. Paul, police said.
St. Paul Police said the woman – whose name has not been released– was walking in or a near a crosswalk when the car hit her at around 5 p.m.
Emergency responders brought the woman to Region’s Hospital. Her condition is not known.
Police said the driver of the car is cooperating and that no citations have been issued.
The incident is still under investigation, police said.
