Cops: Man Found Asleep In Middle Of Road With Meth

SHERBURNE COUNTY, Minn. (WCCO) -- Police arrested a 46-year-old Princeton, Minn., man after they found him asleep in his car in the middle of the road with methamphetamine.

According to the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office, Anthony Ross was arrested for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance after police discovered him at 10:37 a.m. on Thursday on 120th Street in Baldwin Township.

The 1992 Chevrolet S10 that Ross was in wasn't running and the keys weren't in the ignition, police say.

After waking up Ross, police found a glass pipe commonly used for smoking meth in the center console. Authorities also found 1.7 grams of meth and a number of prescription pills suspected to be oxycontin and morphine, which were not prescribed to Ross.
