Renville Co. Authorities Seeking Info On Man's Death, Disappearance
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Renville County Sheriff's Office is seeking information about the death of a Cosmos man who disappeared about a year ago and whose body was found, months later, in a cornfield.
Robert Verdon left his home early last September to visit an acquaintance in a nearby city. However, Verdon never made it to his destination, and his car was found in rural Renville County.
His body was not found until October; it was in a cornfield in Brookfield Township, which is southeast of Cosmos.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward to anyone with information surrounding Verdon's death.
