MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a luring incident was reported in Albertville over the weekend.

Authorities said the incident happened on the 5000 block of Kalland Avenue Northeast just before 8 p.m. When officers got the scene, they spoke with a 15-year-old girl who told them two men she didn’t know asked her to get in a van while she was out walking.

Wright County Sheriff’s Sgt. Scott Halonen said the van was off-white, and a conversion type van, with a sliding door on one side and dark tinted window.

“If there was anyone that was in that area of Albertville Saturday night, and saw a vehicle or persons of that description, calling the Wright County Sheriff’s Department would be a good thing to do,” Halonen said.

The van’s driver was reported to be an older, bald, heavy-set man in a black sweatshirt. The other man was reported as a skinny, tall 20-something in a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.

If you have seen anything suspicious in the area, call 911.
