FARMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities say a home in the south Twin Cities metro is pretty much destroyed after a fire started late Monday night.

Fire crews responded to a report of a house fire at about 11:30 p.m. on the 18000 block of Dunbury Court in Farmington. The homeowner called 911 saying that his back deck was on fire.

Firefighters were able to put the fire out before it caused significant damage to the back of the house. Nobody was hurt in the blaze. Authorities said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
