ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) — A 19-year-old woman who was hit by a vehicle in St. Paul last week has died, according to authorities.
Police say Cleo Thiberge was crossing Hamline Avenue near the intersection with Grand Avenue last Wednesday afternoon when she was hit by an SUV. She was pinned under the vehicle and had been listed in critical condition.
Thiberge died Sunday. According to a St. Paul Pioneer Press report, she had just arrived to St. Paul from France and was a foreign exchange student at Macalester College.
The driver of the SUV is not currently facing any criminal charges in connection with the crash.
