MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — It’s Thursday, and that means it’s time to start planning your weekend.

This weekend there’s plenty of options to get out from fashion, to kielbasa and even music. Here’s what’s working for the weekend.

Fashion Night Out

Thursday night is Fashion Night out across the world. Various boutiques, shops and department stores put on makeup demonstrations, offer freebies, fashion shows and plenty of glamor. Downtown Minneapolis stores Macy’s, Len Druskin Man and Martin Patrick III are some of the participating outlets.

Kramarczuk’s Kielbasa Festival

If you like trying different kinds of kielbasas, northeast Minneapolis is the place for you this weekend. Kramarczuk’s is hosting Kielbasa Festival as Oktoberfest is just around the corner. It’s a two-day festival that honors eastern European food and culture. Sausage and beer will be served up Friday and Saturday. Admission is $10, and that covers your first beer and your mug for the day.

Lowertown Music Festival

Music is always better when it’s free right? Head to Mears Park this weekend for the Concrete and Grass Lowertown Music Festival. The event marks the launch of the fall performance season for the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, Minnesota Opera, Ordway Theater and the Shubert Club.
