MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities in St. Croix County are asking the public’s help in finding a jail inmate who escaped custody while out on a court-ordered job in River Falls, Wis.
The St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office said Jesse A. Marske, 25, (pictured) was scheduled to return to the county jail at 2 a.m. Friday. Marske was out for a work-release program job when he removed his GPS bracelet and fled custody.
“My main concern is that according to court records Marske has a previous sexual assault conviction,” said Sheriff John Shilts.
Marske was serving a sentence for disorderly conduct and two counts of failure to support a child. He was due to be released next month.
The sheriff’s office says it is making every effort to find Marske.
If you have any information on Marske’s whereabouts, call 715-386-4701.
