MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 56-year-old man is dead after being struck head-on by a vehicle in Waseca County.
Authorities say the crash happened around 3 p.m. Saturday on Highway 13, near New Richland.
Police say a 2001 Jeep Cherokee was southbound on Highway 13 when it struck a motorcycle head-on in the northbound lane.
The motorcycle was being driven by Jon Geibe, of Morristown. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Jeep was identified as Mandy Kauffman, 34, of Waseca. She was not injured in the crash.
The crash is still under investigation.
