MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The movie theater in Block E is now the latest to pack up and leave.

Ryan Noonan, director of public relations with AMC Theaters, said the AMC Block E 15 Theater will close at the end of the business day on Sept. 23.

Block E has seen several businesses close their doors in the last few years, including Cold Stone Creamery, Hard Rock Cafe and Applebee’s.

The Shout House Dueling Piano Bar is one of the only businesses still afloat.

The AMC Block E 15 is located at 600 Hennepin Ave. in Minneapolis.
