ROBBINSDALE, Minn. (WCCO) – Police are investigating after two bodies were found in Robbinsdale Friday morning.

Robbinsdale Police, along with the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the scene at about 9:25 a.m. Friday on the 3900 block of Xenia Avenue North in Robbinsdale. Authorities say a 5-year-old child went to a neighbor’s home to report that his mother was not moving. When authorities got to the scene, they found two adults dead inside the home.

Police said it appears both adults had died from gunshot wounds. Authorities say a gun was recovered from the scene and that nearby residents are not in any danger. Authorities are not seeking a gunman.
