SIBLEY COUNTY, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities are investigating a crash after a 13-year-old bicyclist was hit by a semi-truck Saturday afternoon on Highway 15 in Sibley County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 13-year-old Jacob Weber, of Winthrop, was biking north on Highway 15 at 2:29 p.m. Saturday with several others before he crossed in front of the Mack truck, which was also driving northbound, and the two collided.

Weber was left in critical condition after the accident.

The driver of the truck, Andrew Damhof, of Blomkest, wasn’t injured.
