PAYNESVILLE, Minn. (AP) – The Minnesota state fire marshal’s office is helping investigate a fatal fire near Paynesville.

A motorist reported the fire in a mobile home around 6 a.m. Monday.

Firefighters, an ambulance crew and Stearns County sheriff’s deputies responded and found the mobile home engulfed in flames.

After the fire was extinguished, a body was found in the mobile home.

The sheriff’s office identifies the victim as the homeowner, 47-year-old Scott Vogelpohl.
