MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A lone man robbed a Minneapolis store using a chain wrapped around his hand on Sept. 8, 2012, according to Minneapolis Police.
On the day of the incident, Minneapolis Police officers responded to the B Line Market at 1901 Fillmore Street Northeast on a robbery of business call. Responding officers learned that the man entered the business, grabbed the clerk and demanded money. He then fled the store on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion – possibly of Somali decent. He was approximately 5-foot-11 with a thin build, 21 to 30 years of age, wearing a black shirt and pants with a dark hat. It appeared that his hair was in long braid underneath the hat and his face was covered with a red bandana.
The suspect was also wearing green gloves and had a chain wrapped around his left hand.

Crime Stoppers is also offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that proves vital to the case.
