EAST BETHEL, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities have identified the two people who were killed Sunday when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by an SUV in East Bethel.
The victims were identified as John Allen Jordan, 48 of East Bethel, and Patricia Lyn Kalla, 46 of East Bethel. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner said both died of multiple blunt force injuries due to a motorcycle accident with an SUV.
The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash at about 7:40 p.m. Sunday on County Road 22 (Viking Boulevard) at Rendova Street. When authorities arrived, both Jordan and Kalla were pronounced dead.
Authorities also said there were signs the driver of the SUV, 42-year-old Paula Lynn Larson of Bethel, appeared to be intoxicated. She was arrested for possible criminal vehicular homicide and could be charged by the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday.
