ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. (AP) — The Twin Cities Film Fest has announced its 2012 lineup.
“A Place at the Table,” about hunger in America, kicks off the festival Oct. 12 at Kerasotes ShowPlace Icon at The Shops at West End in St. Louis Park.
This year’s fest features 60 films. The centerpiece is David O. Russell’s “Silver Linings Playbook,” starring Bradley Cooper as a man just out of a mental hospital who meets a troubled young woman played by Jennifer Lawrence.
Other entries include Dustin Hoffman’s directing debut “Quartet,” about a group of aging opera stars, and “The Sessions,” featuring Alexandria native John Hawkes as a man in an iron lung who enlists a sex surrogate.
The festival concludes Oct. 20 with the Justin Long comedy “Lumpy,” which was filmed in Minnesota.
